Spring Little League
We are excited to be back at Palisade Area Little League (PALL) fields for another Spring season! This year we will be offering beginner's softball! Look for "Coach Pitch Softball" when you register to participate in this division. Make sure you register early for the lowest pricing!
Ages
Players must turn 4 before August 31, 2024, through 16 years old.
When
The 2024 season begins with tryouts in late March/early April and runs until mid-June.
Where
Palisade Area Little League fields address 3679 G Rd, Palisade, CO 81526. Home games and most practices will take place on our fields.
Practices
Practice frequency is at the coach's discretion; based on age/skill levels.
Games
Games are usually played Monday through Friday with occasional games on Saturdays.
T-ball averages 1-2 games per week and once the games start, no practices are held.
All other divisions average 2 games per week and practice will be at coach's discretion.
The games normally start at 5:30 or 6 pm.
Jerseys
Hats and jerseys are included in your registration fee. Please be sure to include your child's shirt size when registering!
Extra Costs
Participation in fundraising is expected from all our league players.
Additional costs may be required if your player is selected for the All-Star team.

Tryouts
Little League player evaluations, also referred to as tryouts, are an annual activity for all local leagues.
There are five recommended evaluation areas in which each candidate will be given the opportunity to evaluated. They are: (1) Batting/bunting (2) Fielding fly balls (3) Fielding ground balls (4) Throwing and (5) Running in competition with children of the same league age.
Each skill will be graded on a 1-5 scale. A total of score of 25 points is the highest rating a candidate could receive. Candidates scoring 15 through 25 points are considered eligible for drafting (if needed) onto a Majors and above division.
